Since 2005, Stephen has been responsible for overseeing the business operations and strategic vision of the Houston Chronicle Media Group’s (HCMG’s) digital division. As a leader in the online industry with more than 18 years of extensive Internet operations and sales experience, Stephen supervises contract negotiations, strategic planning, market analysis, and business operations. In the past, Stephen has been a task force member on the Yahoo! Newspaper Consortium and a participant in the Columbia University Sulzberger Fellowship as well as the Hearst Management Institute.
Stephen supports Amuse by navigating the world between the agency and the rest of HCMG and Hearst in facilitating larger deals and leveraging technology investments. He was instrumental in sponsoring and helping Amuse in its infancy and continues to invest in its growth.
An avid sports enthusiast, Stephen divides his free time between his family and preparing for triathlons. Stephen is a diehard supporter of the Chicago Bears and Cubs teams.
Head of Agency Delivery & Operations
For more than 15 years, Vivek has been a leader in marketing efforts across a diverse set of industries, regions, and multi-lingual environments. He has crafted brand architectures, built brand portfolios, and executed go-to-market strategies for a number of national clients, including Bank of America, Walmart, Samsung, Verizon, and Kraft foods. His work has been instrumental in developing 360-degree marketing campaigns that maximize client ROI and integrating digital services into traditional advertising environments.
At Amuse, Vivek leads the delivery and operational needs of the agency. Vivek is responsible for all things from planning to processes, from infrastructure to personnel management. A strategic thinker who knows how to translate engagement and campaign needs into robust team and delivery engines, Vivek works across all Amuse teams and clients to ensure consistency, quality, and reliability in all delivery and operational needs.
Vivek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Geology and a Master's Degree from Baylor in Environmental Science. An avid cricket fan, Vivek also enjoys following the Houston Texans. His hobbies include photography and travel.
Head of Business Strategy
Frank Sendra is an experienced advertising executive and business consultant with over 20 years of experience. He has provided strategic insight and built marketing plans for leading companies including McDonald’s, Walmart Stores, Walmart Financial Services, Sonic Drive-In, Subway, Mars, American Airlines, AT&T, and Western Union.
As Head of Business Development at Amuse, he uses his industry expertise and strategic acumen to work extensively with growth-focused companies and individuals to help them realize their dreams and achieve their business goals. This includes leveling the marketing playing field for smaller businesses that may not realize the power of their own brands despite not having the same access to the tools and resources of larger companies.
Frank was born in Connecticut, but grew up on the coastal region of Spain, where he spent his adolescence playing soccer and eating Mediterranean food. After returning to the states via New York City, he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing through an athletic scholarship and continued his education by earning an MBA in applied statistics. Today, he lives in Houston with his wife, two daughters, and two Chihuahuas. His love for soccer still burns fiercely, and in his free time, you can find him out at the grill or in the kitchen cooking up his signature paellas.
Vice President | Media Services Technology
Kim Michell has over 16 years of experience of digital sales, the majority coming from her time at the Houston Chronicle. Her main focus now is on digital planning, execution and sales but prior to this role she also worked in the marketing department. In her role as a Multimarket Director, Kim helped national brands such as Kohl's, Macy's, United and Bank of America leverage Hearst newspaper sites. Kim strives to educate advertisers on the benefits of display media while also accounting for tracking and measurement success.
Today, Kim leads a team of campaign managers, planners, buyers, and analysts who plan and place media on behalf of both Houston Chronicle Media Group and Amuse.
Kim is a proud University of Houston alum, where she studied Journalism and Public Relations. In her free time, she enjoys spoiling her two dogs, traveling the world, and keeping up with the latest trends in fashion and home décor.
Head of Client Services
Jin Chung has 20+ years of agency and video production experience with traditional advertising agencies, video production, and the digital world. He brings this vast and varied experience to Amuse and helps the strengthen its collaborations with clients on award-winning projects. He’s worked with regional clients including Texas Medical Center, Patriot Bank, Randall’s, and METRO, as well as national brands like Cadillac, Mattress Firm, Ford Motor Company, HP, Microsoft, Black & Decker, and UPS.
As Director of Client Services, Jin oversees and leads the client services team in providing superior support to all our clients. As an award-winning Executive Producer at Amuse, he oversees all elements of video production to create content that reaches out to the targeted consumer. His keen eye brings creative ideas to life through careful direction of motion and sound.
Jin grew up in DFW area and has lived in Austin, New York, San Francisco, and Denver before calling Houston home. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from The University of Houston. Jin spends much of his free time with his family or in the outdoors jogging, playing tennis, camping, and hiking.

Chad’s 18-year journey through technology has led to handling all aspects of digital strategy for a wide spectrum of industries across a variety of countries. From leading tech startups to IT consulting, followed by extensive agency experience, his career clients range from various industries including technology, media, entertainment and music, energy, healthcare, retail, art & design as well as architecture.
Certified in technical processes, always interested in the people he works with, and mindful of compliance and performance, Chad’s key focus at Amuse is continually driving the technology team towards reliable delivery, accountable client relationships, fervent web development, and artisan-grade technical quality.
As an Australian-American husband, father, husky owner, Cub Scout Leader, and enthusiast of just about anything on wheels, Chad can likely be found somewhere outdoors with his sons, fixing something, or tinkering with technology when off the clock.

Nilee is bilingual in Spanish and English, but trilingual if you count the nuanced language of interactive media. You could say that Nilee has found a true calling in digital marketing. She has a proven track record of excellence and leadership that spans more than 16 years in the industry. She has an intuitive understanding of digital consumer behavior that lends to her effective brand marketing strategy.
Her impressive portfolio – spanning the Spanish Caribbean, Latin American, and global markets – includes brands such as The Home Depot, Toyota, Scion, Lexus, Wendy’s, P&G, Oreo, Rums of Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Growth, Firefox, and Copa Airlines. Nilee’s organizational skills and insightful approach create profound results for her team and her clients.
Armed with a BA in Communication and Arts from Universidad Del Sagrado Corazón, San Juan, Puerto Rico and her numerous awards, Nilee ensures all strategies and plans are driven by deep data and insights. Always asking and seeking answers to questions involving why, where, who, when, and how, Nilee works with all Amuse teams to ensure that the media mix and metrics are in constant alignment with client goals and needs.

With a keen eye, tactical brand insight, and compelling creative vision, Arturo spearheads the creative efforts for every client at Amuse. With over a decade of global advertising experience under his belt, Arturo has been a pioneer of digital marketing efforts particularly in the Hispanic space. He has been at the creative helm of many award-winning digital and social marketing efforts for clients including Verizon, Walmart, Toyota, Bank of America, P&G, IBM, United Way, El Nuevo Día, Movistar, Estrella Galicia Beer, and AVIS Car Rental.
At Amuse, Arturo leads a talented and award-winning cross-functional team of Art Directors, Interactive Designers, Motion Graphics Designers, User Experience Strategists, and Production Specialists. Arturo knows exactly how to covert insights and research into a storytelling experience specific to each brand and its audience. In this connected world, he understands how to achieve the fine balance between science and art.
Arturo has a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising and public relations from University of Puerto Rico, a master’s degree in advertising from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a master’s degree in art direction from CICE. He is an avid supporter of arts and culture and an advocate for civil rights, social action, education, and human rights. He spends down time immersed in music, going for bicycle rides, and continuing his endless search for a place with the perfect combination of beer, burgers, and laughs.

Her impressive portfolio includes high-profile companies in oil and gas, real estate, food and hospitality, law, and international retail. Projects to which Sara has lent her writing, editing, and strategic expertise have been honored at the AMA Crystal Awards, IABC Bronze Quill Awards, and the BMA Lantern Awards.
Sara holds B.A.s in English and Art & Design from Abilene Christian University and an M.B.A. in Marketing from University of North Texas.
As the Manager | Social Media and Content at Amuse, Sara leads a talented team of social media strategists, content strategists, and copywriters who help clients connect with their audience using content and social media strategies and tactics. The team creates and maintains an approachable, effective digital presence for their clients and helps them achieve their business goals.
In her free time, Sara writes fantasy and science fiction novels, casts aluminum sculptures, designs cakes, and splits her football loyalty between the Texans and the Cowboys.

Cory arrived at Amuse with a successful record of developing digital startups from ideas to fruition, and he never lost the startup work ethic. For nearly a decade Cory has been at the forefront of all things digital, which gives him a competitive edge to create successful organic search strategies in an ever-changing space. He has delivered for brands in a variety of verticals and languages including Intel, McAfee, Netspend, and Laureate Education. An avid traveler, Cory has used his knowledge of culture and language to produce award-winning content for brand partners.

Focusing on fresh, high-quality content and technical signals, Cory and his team ensure that they build lasting SEO value for our partners. On top of leading a team of digital specialists, Cory builds and maintains client and vendor relationships to ensure we have a winning network of resources to achieve and exceed clients’ brand goals.

With more than seven years of SEM experience, Josh is a self-confessed digital marketing nerd. He has worked in digital agencies big and small, and even crossed an ocean along the way. During his career, he’s led SEM strategy for clients such as BMW, Heinz, CubeSmart, and Kumon. He is obsessed with improving workflow processes and has an innate ability to uncover efficiencies underneath even the most stubborn of rocks. Josh’s leadership consistently delivers compelling digital experiences that connect consumers to brands they love. That’s the kind of drive that produces real results for our clients.
At Amuse, Josh leads a team of talented and experienced paid search strategists who focus on helping clients get maximum ROI while driving conversions and generating leads. He works across the aisle with other performance media teams like social and display to ensure that our clients are able to scale and leverage all our media capabilities effectively and efficiently. Josh also works with other Hearst search teams to ensure best-of-breed solutions and leverages Hearst technology investments to enhance client campaigns.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquiare University from his hometown of Sydney, Australia. An avid Rugby fan, Josh is an undying supporter of the Manly Sea Eagles.
